What they say about us

We have been doing programmes with Heritage for over 18 years. They are always interesting, informative, good fun, well organised, flexible and run by very accommodating guides and actors.

Casterton School, Lancashire

The students had a wonderful time, and though I assumed that we wouldn’t repeat the trip for another two years, when the current Lower Sixth would have left, they protested: “But it will be completely different plays next year!” and were very keen to repeat the whole experience.

From the staff point of view, the whole weekend was sheer bliss: from the moment we stepped into the coach in London until we returned, everything was taken out of our hands. The organisation was superb - the transport, the Shakespeare properties, the accommodation, the theatre tickets - everything ran like clockwork, and we had nothing to do but enjoy ourselves even more than the students. One of the best aspects was being able to sit in on the Sunday morning drama workshop and watch a real expert help the students to explore the play they’d seen the previous night: lots of eminently stealable ideas!

Francis Holland School, London

An excellent return trip. Many positive thoughts and memories to take away with us. All the party have voiced their thorough enjoyment. Thank you for your careful and thoughtful organisation.

St Lawrence College, Ramsgate

I thought that the London trip was interesting, well planned and very good value. I never felt rushed or bored. I was very impressed with the organisation and look forward to future Heritage Travel events.

Stamford High School, Lincolnshire.

Many thanks for all your efforts to make our trip so enjoyable and informative.

Stonelaw High School, Glasgow

Thanks for giving us such a great programme. Everyone has been buzzing about it today in school.

Hillpark Secondary School, Glasgow

The girls have raved about the Stratford visit. They really enjoyed it.

West Kirby Grammar School for Girls, Merseyside.

Thank you for your care and expert knowledge without which our London trip would not have been such a great success. The boys were full of enthusiastic comments.

The Grammar School for Boys, Altrincham, Cheshire.

Our guide could not have made us feel more welcome and the excellent workshops were a splendid introduction to the practical skills needed for Paper 1. The students all produced high quality work and threw themselves wholeheartedly into the workshops revealing real potential.

Bradfield College, Reading, Berkshire

Considering the pitfalls and potential dangers that inevitably accompany every outing away from school, it was marvellous for us to be able to relax and enjoy an utterly stress-free experience. We cannot fault the organisation or content of our trip.

Sherborne Boys School, Sherborne, Dorset.

Your planning, experience and knowledge enabled the teaching staff to concentrate on building their relationship with the students and the development of the 6th Form ethos we are aiming for.
